Town Mill Galleries have events throughout the year showcasing local artists and are a great place to pick up original art at entry prices. Just next to Town Mill Galleries is the beautiful studio of Molesworth and Bird which showcases their seaweed art, all created from locally foraged plants. At Dorset House, guests often compliment our gorgeous Molesworth and Bird seaweed pieces!
FOR ARTISTS:
Fine Art and Framing stocks an amazing array of art supplies to inspire any budding Picasso. From brushes and paints to pencils and specialist art paper, this is the place. If you’re feeling creative and want to create your own cards and gift wrap – the products to do so are on hand. Limited edition prints and local art are also available.
FOR GIFTS:
Coombe Street Gallery has a great selection of hand-picked gifts from jewellery and homewares to paintings and decorations. Their vibrant style is sure to bring a smile to your face and gift wrapping is available too. For your literary gifts (or for yourself!) the Lyme Regis Bookshop features a broad selection, including curated local titles!

Kathrens Rare Knitwear is the ultimate in individuality. Fabulous unique designs abound, be it jackets and cardigans or the signature ‘Sari Scarf’. Many items are upcycled from old cashmere. Bespoke pieces can be created to your specifications. The shop (most often open Weds-Sun) is located opposite Town Mill Bakery which is perfect for a reviving coffee and pastry.

Broad Street Vintage offers an eclectic selection of vintage finds from classic design icon furniture through to stained glass windows and unique ceramics. At Dorset House, we sourced "The Most Comfortable Chair in Lyme Regis" from our friends at Broad Street. You'll have to come visit to determine for yourself which it is!
