An award-winning seafood-foward restuarant with a strong focus on local and seasonal produce, Tom’s serves a predominantly seafood menu in a seafront setting right along the Marine Parade, with outside dining available. Open 7 days a week, closing at 4pm on Sundays. Book online or call.

Rockfish is a sustainable sea food restaurant founded by chef Mitch Tonks. At their South West coastal locations, Rockfish works with local fishermen to offer delicious freshly-caught seafood. They have well-marked gluten-free and allergen menus, including a very tasty gluten-free fish and chips. And the views of Lyme Bay and the Cobb from their restaurant and deck cannot be beat.

With an indoor brasserie atmosphere and a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, The Lyme Bay is a casual cafe – bar that serves locally sourced hearty dishes, including well-marked gluten-free options.  New to Lyme Regis is their Cocktail Bar in the cellar for a lovely pre- or post-dinner drink on Fridays and Saturdays. This is the restaurant owned and operated by the lovely couple who initially restored Dorset House to the award-winning B&B that it is!  Authentic Italian ingredients cooked in the wood fired oven until the edges are charred just as they should be. Right along the sandy beach, Swim is a modern bar and restaurant that serves casual food with a varied menu that ensures something for all tastes and diets. Around 15 mins drive away (or a stunning 3-4 hour walk over Golden Cap), The Anchor Inn is a classic pub in a glorious waterfront location nestled between the cliffs. Around a 20 mins drive inland just past Axminster, this high end pub in a 16th century coaching inn serves delcious fine dining meals accompanied by a terrific wine list. They are able to offer gluten-free and other allergen menus per guest needs. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Book online or call.

Where the focus on provenance all began! New to the farm is a casual cafe with glorious veiws over the valley, in addition to the occassional feasts, guest chefs, and wealth of courses. Book online.

Luke and Sara have created an outdoor foodie haven at High Grange. Their feast nights and fire suppers involve a multi-course menu of local, seasonal food cooked over open fires. Expect cocktails, sparkly lights and great company. High Grange also runs fire cookery courses. Book online.

A Michelin-guide noted family-run restaurant with the classic pairing of chef and interior designer. Seasonal ingredients and artistic flair are combined at great value for the quality. Beaminster is a pretty little town about 30 min away, worth a drive out, or a stop on your way towards us from Shaftsbury or the Cerne Abbas Giant.  Book online.

Kiosk, right on the Marine Parade pebble beach serves delicious coffee, hot chocolate, toasties, and sweet and savory baked goods right along the water. We especially love that they have tasty gluten-free and vegan baked goods! It doesn't get more seaside than this.

Delicious fresh asian salad boxes and bao buns to take away. Nathalie ferments her own kimchi if you’d like to give your salad some extra punch, and their chili crisp is legendary. Open seasonally from Easter.

For delicious coffee or a simple lunch tucked away in the back garden, our neighbors Amid Giants & Idols always has chill grooves playing and the most welcoming vibe. Gluten-free options available.

Cibo deli just down the high street, focuses on high quality English and Itaian ingredients to make their to-go sandwiches and other savory goods, or try one of Lisa's delicious homemade baked treats. With a selection of cheeses, olives, deli meats, and fresh veg, this is the place to go to put together your picnic lunch.

At the bottom of the high street you can enjoy coffee and freshly made crepes with a variety of sweet and savoury fillings including a traditional buckwheat galette - takeaway.

Herbies Fish Bar (just in front of the sailing club by the sandy beach) serves up classic, locally caught seaside Fish & Chips. On a sunny day the queues can be long but you can enjoy them on the sand with the option of running to the shelters should the clouds open. Beware of the seagulls – they are masters of swooping and stealing your meal. Gluten-free is not possible.

The juiciest hog roast with the crispiest crackling roasted fresh every day (a Lyme Regis institution). Monmouth coffee and home made doughnuts too. At the bottom of the high street - takeaway.

Our local Baboo Gelato has won numerous awards! Luckily, you can enjoy Baboo throughout Lyme Regis and the South West, where it is a local favorite.

The Bagel Shop serves up tasty bagel sandwiches, including a delicious gluten-free everything bagel sandwich, and a number of vegetarian and vegan options.

Located just behind the Marine Parade, The Lyme Bay Sandwich Co. provides nice to-go sandwich boxes, including a signature crab baguette sandwich, for a good price. Gluten-free options available.

The Black Dog Tea Room, just up the road towards Uplyme, is a quirky but buzzing place, serving homemade brunch and sandwiches, as well as cream tea and baked goods all afternoon. Their back garden is a nice place to catch a sunbeam while you enjoy a late lunch or tea.

Tucked away in a courtyard behind the Marine Parade, Bambina's Delights is a combination cafe and mini Oriental Grocery. She serves up a variety of daily specials that can range from Asian, Southeast Asian, and Filipino specialties. The shop also carries a variety of Asian snacks, drinks, and ingredients. There are always gluten-free options.
