As many people discovered last summer, a UK B&B holiday can be an amazing experience. Once we’ve mentally detached ourselves from the image of baking in the sunshine (although to be fair we did also manage that last summer!), the landscape, culture and variety of activities available to us in the UK make for a great holiday. And all with the added benefit of avoiding environmentally damaging air travel and supporting our local economies.
We’re lucky to have a thriving high street in Lyme Regis and one of the consequences of lockdown has been for many of us to appreciate the job that our local shops do for us. Yes, the prices may be slightly higher, but that’s because these guys pay their taxes which ultimately comes back around. And the products and service are so much more individual in nature than the big stores.
